International Exchange Program (IEP) 2022 Concludes

IEP Class of 2022

 IEP 2022 Presentations Available Online

The International Exchange Program interns of 2022 (pictured above) concluded their internships in late August by gathering for several days of tours in Washington, D.C., and for a Closing Ceremony to share short reports about their work. For the first time, the interns’ final presentations are available for viewing online: watch them on our Youtube channel here. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

US/ICOMOS thanks all the interns, hosts, mentors, committee and community members who made this year’s program a success. During the Closing Ceremony we took a moment to commemorate Darwina Neal, US/ICOMOS Fellow and longtime supporter of the program, who passed away in 2021. We also owe a special debt of gratitude to Zoe Leung, Trustee (pictured at left), who served as IEP Committee Chair this year and to Lydia Loopesko, IEP Program Coordinator (pictured at right below at a group dinner held in Washington). This is the final year that Zoe and Lydia will serve in these roles: we will miss the enthusiasm, organizational skill, and spirit of camaraderie that they brought to US/ICOMOS and the IEP. Thank you, Zoe and Lydia!
