Call for Abstracts: SAVE Heritage, 9-11 June 2011 in Capri

The Second University of Naples, the Regional Centre for Cultural Heritage, Ecology and Economy, and the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, under the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and the U.S-Italy Fulbright Commission, have organized the IX International Forum “Le Vie dei Mercanti” : S.A.V.E. Heritage Safeguard of Architectural, Visual,Environmental Heritage in Capri, Italy, 9-11 June 2011.

S.A.V.E. Heritage aims to create an international discussion on the local experiences for the preservation of cultural, architectural, archaeological, landscape and environmental heritage.
In the current era characterized by the economy of knowledge, the cultural identity of places has a greater value than that related to the tourism industry, because this is an indispensable asset in the educational process to maximize human capital and to make competitive and attractive the territory.
S.A.V.E. Heritage invites the submission of abstracts for oral, poster or paper presentations for consideration by the standing scientific committee.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 20 January 2011.
